Objectives:

The training program will focus on

  • The UIDAI Eco-systems
  • The key goals and objectives of Aadhaar
  • The Processes which need to bse followed to ensure the success of the Aadhaar initiative by the UIDAI
  • Understanding how to setup and manage an Enrolment Centre
  • Handling of various types of devices which are required for enrolling residents
  • Familiarization with the Aadhaar Enrolment Client which is used for entering data during the enrolment process
  • Handling of exceptional cases during the enrolment process
  • Handling residents, their concerns and objections
Target Trainees:

The course is intended for the staff of empanelled Enrolling Agencies.

Outcome of the Training:
  • Training of Enrolment Agency staff and representatives from the Registrar’s office, Representatives from local bodies (like the Municipality or Panchayats) and Introducers on the entire project
  • Enrollment agency staff will learn the various processes in enrolling residents and ensuring quality of data that is sent to the UIDAI repository
  • Introducers will learn the objectives and benefits of Aadhaar which will help them in communicating the right message to residents of their area or locality
Program Flow:

The training program will be conducted over a period of 6 days with a minimum batch size of 25 participants
The daily program and session flow would be communicated separately

Course Outline:
  • UIDAI & Aadhaar (1 session) describes the pupose of Aadhaar and the interaction between various functionaries of the UIDAI Eco-system.

  • Aadhaar Enrolment process (2 sessions) will give an overview of the end to end process from the setting up of an Enrolment Centre to the point where the Aadhaar number is generated and sent back to the resident.

  • Setting up and managing an Enrolment Centre (4 sessions) will cover the procedures to be followed in setting up a new Enrolment Centre and the aspects of day to day operations.

  • Basics of Hardware Devices (1 Session) will introduce the participants to the different types of devices used in the Enrolment Centre.

  • Working with Biometric Devices (8 sessions) will provide the participants an opportunity to work with the different types of Biometric devices and gain some level of proficiency in capturing biometric information.

  • Aadhaar Enrolment Client (6 sessions) will introduce the participants to the features of the software and the complete data entry and data capture process. A hands-on approach will be adopted to ensure that the participants develop the confidence to use the application during the enrolment process.

  • Handling Exceptions and Grievances (5 sessions) will help the participants in addressing different types of biometric exceptions that may be encountered during enrolment of residents. Participants will also learn how to handle grievances posed by residents who are being enrolled or who have already been enrolled.

  • Soft Skills (5 sessions) will familiarize the participants with different aspects of communications, interaction with senior residents and how to handle crowds.

  • For some of the topics, to help the participants assimilate the learning, a number of role-plays will be enacted in which all the participants can join.

  • Mock sessions by the participants.
Computer Requirement from the Trainees:

Participants’ systems (Laptop) setup:

  • Each participant should have a freshly formatted individual laptop/computer with updated Windows 7 or XP with SP3.

  • No participant to have Windows Vista!

  • Each participant should have complete administrator privileges of his/her laptop/computer such that he/she can disable and re-enable the antivirus and firewall software during installation.

  • Each participant should have internet connection because the Google IME installation requires the same.

  • Each participant’s system should have the latest OS and antivirus updates.
Venue:
Can be at our site or the clients site depending on the number of participants and the commercials worked out
Boarding & Lodging:
The participants are required to make their own lodging and boarding arrangements .
