Notably, Hero Mindmine has trained over
100,000 BPO professionals in India and is the exclusive pre-certification
training provider partner of BCI, USA (the BPO Certification
Institute, Inc, USA, world’s largest BPO Certification
Body)
There are numerous challenges facing the Chinese BPO Industry
and the most critical of them is the dearth of BPO professionals
who are fluent in English and have the requisite Certifications
to work in BPOs servicing international clients. The problem
becomes really niggling also because, China – unlike
India – does not have the Basic English Language learning
systems embedded in their education system.
The Government of China and its partner bodies have initiated
several programs across schools, colleges and even in offices
to equip people with English language skills so that the
country can become capable of servicing the business processing
needs of the English speaking West, which incidentally imports
almost 88% of the total BPO services globally produced.
Indeed, it is thinking long term as well and that is why
the government-promoted Institute of Sozhou Software, SISPARK
has established a win-win cooperation relationship with
the Indian BPO training giant, Hero Mindmine Institute Limited.
ISS plans to establish a China-wide network of BPO Training
infrastructure under technical guidance from Hero Mindmine,
which is a part of the USD 4 bn HERO Group, and is among
Asia’s largest training companies.
Hero Mindmine, deploying its vast knowledge and experience
of BPO training, will not only train strategically identified
talents over the next one year, but will also team up with
the ISS to establish a network of BPO Training academies
across China.
